MAP System Burst Tank

MAP Systems Model #VBT-550-P and #VBT-550-E Vacuum Burst Tanks. 

This diagnostic instrument provides quick and easy testing, of package burst level/seal strength, for both flexible and rigid containers.  The tank is made of Acrylic and plastic components all non-corrosive construction.  The VBT-550-P uses plant compressed air and has a vacuum pre-adjust needle position valve to precisely set the desired vacuum level from 1.5" to 23" of Hg within the chamber.  The VBT-550-E has a self-contained electric vacuum pump with runs on 120 VAC.  It also has a vacuum pre-adjust needle position valve to precisely set the desired vacuum level from 1.5" to 23" of Hg within the chamber. The chamber comes with a vacuum gauge air operated or electrical vacuum pump, all necessary hosing and differential pressure altitude charts.
